Old vines of between 60 and 95 years
Terrain: Poor terrain with clay, sand, pebbles and panal (fossilized sand dunes). Altitude of between 300 and 700 m. Very low yields of 1000 - 2000 kg/hectare.
Aging: 13 months aging in new French oak barrels and 2-3 years in lightly toasted barrels.
