Variety: 100% Verdejo

Production
Vineyard: A vineyard of .7 hectares, on the edge of stony ground towards Serrada. It is the only plot of Verdejo in espalier that they use for their terroir wines. Strains of more than 20 years

Soil: Of alluvial origins. River stone surface with calcareous red mud in the subsoil.

Elaboration: Must maceration for ten hours at 4°C to extract the aroma of the skin.  Light pressing in pneumatic press. Fermentation in two new French oak barrels of 300 liters, using the method of bâtonnage only. Malolactic fermentation takes place at this time.

Aging: After malolactic fermentation, it is stored in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes
A full-bodied wine. On the nose, aromas of fine herbs and a hint of citrus fruits. 

On the mouth, perfect harmony between alcohol, fruit, structure and notes of the barrels. Very long and persistent.  Best to decant 3-4 hours before serving.
