Sant Joan de Mediona (Barcelona)
Tayaimgut

Tayaimgut wine comes from the grapes that grow in the vineyards in Sant Joan de Mediona. It is located on the valley floor of the Catala Pre-coastal mountains.

The main characteristic of this valley is the cold weather on summer nights when the grapes start their maturation process. Low temperatures during the night are the key to Tayaimut.

“Les Esquarterades” with 3.5Ha, is planted with 2000 Merlot grapevines (0.6Ha) and Cabernet Sauvignon grapevines (0.3Ha). “Always with hands on the grapevines” - They harvest the best grapes manually aiming to obtain the optimum matured grapes.

In the Celler, with minimum intervention, the grapes obtained from the vineyards are extracted and preserved.
